Englewood – Stabbing

On 11/25/18, at about 5:26 AM, Officers responded to the 7-11 convenience store, located at the Monument on Tenafly Road, on a report of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, two victims were located outside the store. A 19-year-old male from Englewood was suffering from a serious stab wound to his stomach and a 24-year-old male from Glendale Queens, New York, was found to have suffered a stab wound to his back. Both were taken to local hospitals. The 24-year-old was treated and released while the 19-year-old underwent emergency surgery and is currently in the ICU Unit. He is expected to survive. No weapons have been recovered as of yet but forensic evidence was removed from the crime scene. Detectives are investigating the motive for the attacks and video from a number of locations in the area is being retrieved and reviewed.
