Bergen County CrimeStoppers is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization led by citizens wanting to keep their communities safe against crime. The organization started out in 1982 as “Tri-Community CrimeStoppers” with the municipal/city police agencies of Bergenfield, Hackensack, and Teaneck. Later, member towns and cities were added to its membership. They were: Englewood, Bogota, South Hackensack and Mahwah. These six (7) municipalities currently make up the police and municipal/city membership of Bergen County Crime Stoppers. However, Crime Stoppers wants to continue to add more Bergen County townships, boroughs, and cities to their membership to have the ability to serve all areas of our great County here in the State of New Jersey.

Never Share Your Secret Code Number With Anyone And Never Give Your Name Or Any Information That Could Identify You To Crime Stoppers.
In cooperation with Bergenfield, Bogota, Englewood, Hackensack, Mahwah, Teaneck, and South Hackensack Police Departments, we are asking for the public’s help to solve these crimes.

Once you submit your tip, stay in contact with the detective that follows up on the crime tip. If that tip leads to an arrest, you will receive a cash reward provided by CRIME STOPPERS.
