Gun fired at Elks Lodge - Police Seek Information

On Saturday, April 7, 2018, at approximately12:08 am, Officers responded to the Elks Ideal Lodge, located at 17 Bennett Road, on a report of a gunshot being fired.

The responding officers located ballistic evidence on the scene that confirmed a firearm had been discharged, but no actual gunshot victims were found. It was also lear ned that a minor motor vehicle crash had occurred when a patron quickly attempted to leave the lot after hearing the gunshot. No one was injured in that as well. Englewood Detectives responded, along with the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department Crime Scene Unit.

At this point, the investigation is ongoing. There is video in the area that we are endeavoring to recover.

We are looking for help from witnesses who may have seen something but either left before our officers arrived or are hesitant to come forward.
